Dodgers Postseason

The Dodgers didn't do so good this postseason. They only managed to get 1 win out of 4 games against the Cardinals. The Cardinals won every game except for the 2nd game. Every game that the Dodgers lost was messed up either by the starting pitcher or the bull pin in the 7th inning. Kershaw didn't play so well in the postseason. he only lost 3 games in the whole season and he lost 2 in the postseason.

Yasiel Puig did horrible in the postseason. He had a 8 straight strike outs in a row this series. Puig had to sit down the last game. The manager didn't want him to play. He is a really good player, it just didn't show this postseason. Andre Ethier took his place on the last game. He wasn't much of an impact.

Clayton Kershaw did great in both games until the 7th inning. My guess is that his pitch count was too high. The first game, we were up 6 to 2. Then the Cardinals scored 8 points in the seventh. We caught up in the end, but still lost. The end results were 10 to 9.

The second game, we did great. Zach Greinke was the starting pitcher and pitched a solid game. He also got 2 hits in the game as a batter. Most pitchers aren't good at batting, but Zach Greinke is good. He played until the 7th inning because the Dodgers manager didn't want him to get tired. They put in a middle reliever. The middle reliever did bad and gave up a 2 run homerun in the seventh which tied it. Matt Kemp stepped up to the plate on the bottom of the 8th inning and hit a homerun to give us back the lead. We won this game.

Hyun Jin Ryu was the starting pitcher for the 3rd game. He didn't do so bad before the seventh. He only gave up one run, which was a solo home run by Matt Carpenter. Then, in the seventh inning, Colten Wong got a 2 run homerun to give the Cardinals a 2 run lead. The Dodgers lost this game 3 to 1.

Clayton Kershaw played game 4 in an elimination game. He did great in the game until the 7th inning once again. He held the Cardinals to 0 runs until the seventh inning while we had 2. Than Matt Adams, the Cardinals first baseman, hit a 3 run homerun to give the Cardinals the lead. The Dodgers lost in the NLCS against the Cardinals for the second straight year.
