We played our first game against the New Halen Malamutes. It was a pretty tough game. It was a really intense game because the game was so close. The crowd was also cheering like crazy for their team. It ended up going to overtime.
During overtime, it was even more intense. The Malamutes ended up winning by 4 points. It isn't the end of the tournament for us though. We still have a chance of getting second place and going to state. We will have to win two more games.
The same day we played Port Alsworth. We played pretty good. We ended up beating the team by 27 points. We are going to play New Stuyahok at 5 pm today. If we win, we will play the loser of the championship game for true second place.
Playing against New Halen was a bit of a challenge, but at the same time it seemed just a little easy. One reason why they won was because we could not stop them from going into the middle. It was such an amazing game! I had never gotten chills like I have in that game. All I could say is, it was an amazing season.
